Regional Customer Strategy Director

SES Engineering Services are looking for a Regional Customer Strategy Director to join our Southern leadership team, helping to shape our future pipeline, build influential partnerships, and drive strategic growth across key sectors.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Regional Customer Strategy Director, you’ll be a key member of both the SES South Leadership team and our national Customer Strategy leadership team. You’ll lead the development and execution of integrated customer and growth strategies that align with our corporate goals and help shape our position in the market.

You’ll own senior client relationships, influence regional procurement strategies, and lead on the origination of high-impact opportunities. Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Innovation, Commercial, and Operations teams, you’ll ensure a strong, sustainable pipeline of work across public, private, and strategic partnership channels.

As our Regional Customer Strategy Director you will:

• Lead strategic market intelligence and foresight to anticipate shifts in demand, regulation, and industry trends—turning insight into actionable strategy.
• Build and maintain trusted executive relationships with clients and external stakeholders, ensuring SES is the partner of choice.
• Direct the creation and delivery of compelling, multi-stakeholder proposals and ensure our value proposition is clearly defined and differentiated.
• Provide leadership to Bid Managers, Proposals Managers, Business Development and Pre-Construction Managers across the region, ensuring alignment from the earliest stages of opportunity.
• Champion collaboration across functions, ensuring customer insight drives innovation, delivery, and commercial success.
• Shape and oversee the performance of the regional pipeline, ensuring visibility and consistency of opportunity across all sectors.
• Represent SES at industry forums and with influential bodies to reinforce our reputation and market leadership.
• Translate strategic plans into clear, deliverable action across regional teams and business units
